I had a mixed experience during my stay at Bab Hotel. While the location was great and the staff was friendly, I encountered several issues that affected my overall satisfaction. The cleanliness in some areas left much to be desired, especially regarding the bathrooms and maintenance of common facilities. Unfortunately, the vibe of the hotel felt a bit off due to staff issues.

Rooms
6.0
I found my deluxe double room spacious and nicely designed, but the cleanliness wasn't up to par. It would have been nice to have better features in the bathroom, like a proper sink setup rather than the awkward layout I experienced.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and helpful, but there were moments of miscommunication and inconsistency in service. It felt like they were overwhelmed at times, which impacted their attentiveness.
Location
8.0
The hotel is conveniently located right in Gueliz, making it easy to explore local shops and restaurants within walking distance. It is a vibrant area that I really enjoyed.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast options were quite limited, and the quality didn't meet my expectations. I was hoping for something fresh and appealing, but it was underwhelming.
Facilities
6.0
The swimming pool area could use some refurbishment as it didn't match the promotional photos I had seen. The amenities available felt somewhat neglected.

5.4/10

My stay at Bab Hotel was quite a mixed bag. The spa experience was amazing, with the hammam and massages being the highlight, thanks to the wonderful staff. However, the hotel itself felt a bit run down; the noise from the nearby street kept me up at night, and the breakfast options were quite limited. Overall, while I enjoyed the pampering, the hotel's condition and some services left a bit to be desired.

Rooms
6.0
My room was clean and nicely decorated, but the street noise was a real issue. Even on the third floor, it disturbed my sleep. I would have loved some tea or coffee-making facilities too.
Service
10.0
The staff was very friendly and responsive, especially in the spa. They made me feel pampered during treatments, which was a big plus for my stay.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location is awesome for exploring, with plenty of things within walking distance. However, if your room faces the street, be prepared for a lot of noise, especially if you're trying to sleep.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were quite basic, and the breakfast didn’t impress me. It leaned heavily on sweet items, though the fresh orange juice was a highlight.
Facilities
6.0
The spa facilities were really nice, and I had a great time there. However, I couldn't use the pool since it was situated right next to the restaurant and didn’t get any sunlight.

My stay at the Bab Hotel was a mixed experience. The attentive staff truly stood out, particularly Kawtar and Abdu, who made every effort to ensure I was comfortable. However, I was disappointed by the lack of maintenance in the rooms and the noise from the busy street below. While the hotel has potential, it is showing signs of wear despite its recent renovation.

Rooms
6.0
My room was spacious and clean, but I noticed some wear and tear. The balcony overlooked a busy street, which made it quite noisy at times. I would have appreciated tea and coffee facilities in the room.
Service
8.0
The service was a highlight of my stay. The staff were consistently friendly and went above and beyond to assist me. Fatima Zahra at the spa was particularly warm and attentive. However, I encountered some rudeness from other department staff at times.
Location
7.0
Located in Gueliz, the hotel is just one block away from shops and restaurants, making it convenient for dining out. However, the surrounding area has its share of dilapidated buildings, which can detract from the overall feel.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast offered a small selection but was fresh. I did, however, encounter issues with running out of coffee and milk during my stay. The restaurant staff, though, were very kind and attentive.
Facilities
5.0
While the amenities were decent, I felt the hotel lacked some facilities like a fitness center and a heated swimming pool. The pool area didn't receive much sunlight either, which was a bit disappointing.

7.0/10

My stay at Bab Hotel had its highlights. The spa experience was truly really good, but the dining and some facilities left much to be desired. I particularly enjoyed the hammam, which provided a much-needed escape from the bustling city. However, the noise from the street was a bit disruptive at night, and the limited menu for meals was a letdown.

Rooms
6.0
The room was spacious with a king-size bed and a separate lounge area, but I noticed that renovations were long overdue.
Service
7.0
The staff were generally friendly and helpful, making my stay more enjoyable, although I did encounter some rude behavior at the front desk.
Location
8.0
The location was convenient, just a block away from restaurants and shops, making it easy to explore the area.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast choices were limited and the same menu for three days was quite disappointing. Service could be slow at times as well.
Facilities
5.0
While the spa was fantastic, I found the pool area uninviting and small, and the TV in my room had many channels that weren't working.

My stay at Bab Hotel was overall good, particularly thanks to the friendly staff and the cozy ambiance. I loved the modern comforts, though there were signs of wear in some areas that detracted from the overall experience. The location in Gueliz was convenient for shopping and dining, making it easy to explore the new town.

Rooms
7.0
I found my room to be spacious and beautifully designed. the shower was particularly luxurious. However, I noticed some areas, like the bathroom, could use better maintenance, as parts seemed to be showing their age.
Service
9.0
The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to help. It's clear they are trained to handle an international crowd. I appreciated their efforts, especially when they quickly addressed any issues I had during my stay.
Location
8.0
The hotel is located in the vibrant Gueliz area, which is great for exploring new shops and restaurants. It's a bit of a trek to the old town, but the city center is accessible. perfect for those who want to experience both parts of Marrakesh.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast offered a good variety, but I found some items, like outside ham and cheese, weren't ideal for the hot weather. Nonetheless, the Moroccan options were enjoyable and a good way to start the day.
Facilities
8.0
The amenities were satisfying, with a lovely pool area and a nice spa that felt like a peaceful retreat from the city. I took full advantage of the pool to cool off during the warm days. overall, very nice.
